‘THE EAGLES’ – Estancia Delegation
Each year in Term 3, a group of senior students from Estancia High School, Costa Mesa California, have the opportunity to experience Hoppers Crossing Secondary College for three weeks with the main purpose of developing leadership skills and developing global connections.
The 2019 Delegation
The 2019 Delegation arrived on Saturday 27th July and are being hosted by staff and students of the College for a total of three weeks. These students will be immersed in the culture of College and will experience unique Australian experiences such as; touring the Great Ocean Road and visiting Phillip Island.
During their visit, they will also deliver presentations on their home town, Costa Mesa to the College Council, student body and Wyndham City Council. Their presentation has an educational focus and covers some of the current changes and challenges within their local community as well as providing some information about who they are and where they come from.
