The College introduces its new Improvement Policy giving students the opportunity to improve their knowledge and better their original scores on major assessment tasks. Years 10, 11 and 12 students, exemplified teamwork and challenged themselves and each other during their Mini Olympics, Survivor and Trivia Nights respectively. Our 2016 Italian delegation held Gelati fundraiser events to raise money to support their upcoming international visit to our sister school in Forli, Italy. Read more . . .

While our Sister School Exchange Program between Hoppers Crossing Secondary College and Costa Mesa’s Estancia High School in California celebrates it’s 10th year this year, our new Year 7 students are just beginning their secondary school journey which was celebrated with a Welcome Barbecue last week. Year 8 students cooked and sold hundreds of pancakes to staff and students to raise money for Uniting Care. Year 12 students attended a Study Camp at Federation University in Ballarat and students from all year levels are invited to participate in the upcoming Australian Mathematics Competition. The College celebrates a stellar year with its best Year 12 results since opening in 1984. Hoppers students star in a DVD aimed at helping young people learn to access health services and will be used in all Victorian Schools. Celebrations such as the Bianco Nero Ball, Year 10 Formal and 2015 Awards Night end the year on a high note. The year winds down with formal classes for the Class of 2015 coming to and end, end of year celebrations are in full swing, and external exams underway. 2016 College Captains and Vice Captains were announced. Orientation Classes for the Class of 2016 begin and include a visit to Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds and Waterfront campuses in Geelong. Read more . . .
