The College places great importance on developing innovative and challenging educational programs. The learning of our students occurs within the College endorsed, Teaching and Learning Framework based on sound education research.
Teaching & Learning Framework
The framework has been developed in consultation with teachers, parents/carers and students alongside educational consultant and co-author, Jane Pollock Ph.D. It prescribes our Common Instructional Model for all classes.

‘Anywhere, anytime, but not all the time!’
Student learning at the College is supported by a college-wide netbook program. Our teachers are trained in effective implementation of ICT strategies within their classrooms.
SEEP Program
Our Select Entry Enrichment Pathway (SEEP) Program, provides high ability students with a stimulating and challenging learning environment allowing them to pursue their academic interests and goals.

The Junior School reflects our positive school ethos and works towards building respectful classrooms that engage student interest with a focus on improvement and challenge.

The elective curriculum structure at Year 10 allows for all students to pursue academic and career interests by undertaking a totally customised program, unique to each individual student at the College.
LEARN MOREVCE (Years 11-12)
The College offers an extensive list of VCE units that cater to the diverse range of interests, abilities and educational goals of our senior students. VCE units are also accessible to all Year 10 students.
LEARN MOREVM (Years 11-12)
The VCAL program provides students with a hands-on and flexible approach to senior secondary education and is overseen by the College VCAL coordinator and dedicated teaching team.

Vocational Education and Training (VET) units are designed to provide students with the opportunity to undertake a nationally recognized training certificate alongside their VCE or VCAL program.
LEARN MOREExaminations
The College assessment procedure requires all Year 9, 10 and VCE students to participate in formal examinations twice a year . Mid-year exams are held at the end of term 2, the end-of-year exams at the end of term 4.
